What do we teach?
For nearly 20 years, The Acting Center has been isolating and codifying the core principles of great acting through rigorous research and testing. We offer clear, direct answers about what acting truly is and how to excel at it.
Our hands-on approach gets you on your feet in every class, ensuring you experience the techniques firsthand. Every actor works extensively in each session, making this non-trauma based method more invigorating, empowering, and effective than outdated methods.

How do we teach?
Our hands-on technique emphasizes learning by doing. In every class, you’ll jump right in, avoiding overthinking and analysis paralysis. You’ll receive essential tools and practice the skills needed to captivate audiences, then immediately apply them through performance.
You’ll be on your feet acting for most of each class. Instead of sitting through critiques, notes, and discussions that can lead to overthinking and self-doubt, you’ll spend your time acting and exploring your unique artistic choices.
